Toledo Elementary School welcomes Stacia Fletcher as Assistant Principal. Fletcher replaces Janna Limbert who was promoted to principal this spring upon the departure of Liz Postlewait.
“I am inspired by creating effective systems so that students and teachers can fully achieve their potential and am thrilled to join K-6 students and a dedicated team of educators at Toledo Elementary School as an assistant principal,” Fletcher said. “I have always appreciated the close-knit community at Toledo Elementary and am looking forward to coming aboard.”
Fletcher has been an educator for 10 years with an additional 10 years in science specific education. She brings with her an extensive background in science education and curriculum writing. Fletcher taught at Sam Case elementary and was an elementary principal in the North Bend School District.
Dr. Majalise Tolan, LCSD Superintendent, said Fletcher will be a great addition to LCSD. “Stacia attended a new principal academy I facilitated and was eager to learn and believes in student success. We are excited to welcome her back to LCSD.”
Principal Limbert said she is also excited to have Fletcher back in the district. “She brings vast knowledge in many areas and wants to continue the work that has been started at Toledo Elementary.”
La Escuela Primaria de Toledo da la bienvenida a Stacia Fletcher como Subdirectora. Fletcher sustituye a Janna Limbert, que fue ascendida a directora esta primavera tras la marcha de Liz Postlewaite.
“Me inspira la creación de sistemas eficaces para que los estudiantes y profesores puedan alcanzar plenamente su potencial y estoy encantada de unirme a los estudiantes de K-6 y a un dedicado equipo de educadores en la Escuela Primaria Toledo como subdirectora”, dijo Fletcher. “Siempre he apreciado la comunidad unida en Toledo Elementary y estoy deseando subir a bordo”.
Fletcher ha sido educadora por 10 años con 10 años adicionales en educación específica de ciencia. Ella trae con ella un fondo extenso en la educación de ciencia y escritura de plan de estudios. Fletcher enseñó en la escuela primaria Sam Case y fue directora de primaria en el distrito escolar de North Bend.
La Dra. Majalise Tolan, Superintendente de LCSD, dijo que Fletcher será una gran adición a LCSD. “Stacia asistió a una academia para nuevos directores que yo facilité y estaba ansiosa por aprender y cree en el éxito de los estudiantes. Estamos emocionados de darle la bienvenida a LCSD”.
La directora Limbert dijo que también está emocionada de tener a Fletcher de vuelta en el distrito. “Ella trae un vasto conocimiento en muchas áreas y quiere continuar el trabajo que se ha empezado en la Primaria Toledo”.
