I am grateful to be the Superintendent of the Lincoln County School District and serve the students, staff, families and community. Having been an educator in Lincoln County for the last fifteen years, I am excited for the opportunity to work with the community, School Board of Directors, staff, and students in this new role.
The staff of Lincoln County School District, First Student, Sodexo: Nutrition Services, and Sodexo: Custodial, have been hard at work this summer preparing for a fantastic fall kick-off to another great school year. Their ongoing dedication to keep students at the center of their work allows us to learn from each other and continue to grow.
I look forward to watching the continued growth of our students academically and as well-rounded people preparing for their futures. We are continuing to build partnerships with the arts, science, and industry communities and are looking for even more opportunities to grow our existing career and technical education programs across the district. We also continue to meet regularly with Oregon Coast Community College to find ways to align our programs and offerings and take advantage of the opportunities that having a community college in our own backyard provides. Our goal is not to prepare students for a future we think they should have but to prepare them for the future they want to pursue. Every child, every day, future ready.
I appreciate the connection that each and every community has with their schools. We live in a large, diverse, and unique place that tells its own story in every town you visit.

Estoy agradecido de ser el Superintendente del Distrito Escolar del Condado de Lincoln y de servir a los estudiantes, el personal, las familias y la comunidad. Después de haber sido educador en el Condado de Lincoln durante los últimos quince años, estoy emocionado por la oportunidad de trabajar con la comunidad, la Junta Directiva Escolar, el personal y los estudiantes en este nuevo cargo.
El personal del Distrito Escolar del Condado de Lincoln, First Student, Sodexo: Servicios de Nutrición y Sodexo: Custodia, han estado trabajando arduamente este verano preparándose para un fantástico inicio de otro gran año escolar en otoño. Su dedicación continua de mantener a los estudiantes en el centro de su trabajo nos permite aprender unos de otros y seguir creciendo.
Espero con interés observar el continuo crecimiento de nuestros estudiantes académicamente y como personas con una formación integral preparándose para su futuro. Continuamos construyendo asociaciones con las comunidades artísticas, científicas e industriales y estamos buscando aún más oportunidades para expandir nuestros programas de educación técnica y profesional en todo el distrito. También seguimos reuniéndonos regularmente con el Oregon Coast Community College para encontrar formas de alinear nuestros programas y ofertas y aprovechar las oportunidades que brinda tener un colegio comunitario en nuestro propio vecindario. Nuestro objetivo no es preparar a los estudiantes para un futuro que creemos que deberían tener, sino prepararlos para el futuro que desean perseguir. Cada niño, cada día, listo para el futuro.
Aprecio la conexión que cada comunidad tiene con sus escuelas. Vivimos en un lugar grande, diverso y único que cuenta su propia historia en cada ciudad que se visita.
