Newport Middle School is proud to announce and celebrate our own Chloe Minch as she joins the administrative team. Mrs. Minch will take on the role of Assistant Principal at both NMS and Future Bound, the district-wide middle school alternative education program.
After graduating from University of Portland in 2012 with a BA in Elementary Education and endorsement in Foundational Mathematics, Ms. Minch landed her first job teaching math and leadership at INMS that same year. When INMS closed in the spring of 2015, Minch continued to teach math and leadership at the newly re-opened Newport Middle School, where she has been an integral part of the 7th grade teaching team. Ms.Minch has also coached volleyball at both the middle and high school levels during her tenure in Newport.
Ms. Minch will earn her Masters of Arts Degree in School Leadership with an Administrative License in August, and will be ready to hit the ground running for the 2020-21 school year. When asked about her new position, she said, “ I am most excited about working with our amazing staff and exemplary leadership to build a school that makes kids pumped and proud to be a Cub.”
Mr. Belloni can’t wait for her to get started, and states that, “Her energy, leadership and passion for the success of all students has already made an enormous impact on Newport Middle School, and I know her influence as Assistant Principal will only make NMS and Future Bound stronger schools.”
The staff and students at Newport Middle and Future Bound are proud of our newest homegrown administrator. We are excited and “pumped” to welcome Ms. Minch to her newest role in education.

Después de graduarse de la Universidad de Portland en 2012 con una licenciatura en Educación Primaria y el respaldo en Matemáticas Fundamentales, la Sra. La Sra. Minch también ha entrenado voleibol en los niveles de secundaria y preparatoria durante su mandato en Newport.
La Sra. Minch obtendrá su Maestría en Artes en Liderazgo Escolar con una Licencia Administrativa en agosto, y estará lista para comenzar el año escolar 2020-21. Cuando se le preguntó sobre su nuevo puesto, dijo: “Estoy muy emocionada de trabajar con nuestro increíble personal y liderazgo ejemplar para construir una escuela que haga que los niños se sientan orgullosos y orgullosos de ser un Cub”.
