In our recent Compass News, we incorrectly identified the academic honors for two Newport High School students in the graduate section. Noah Larsen and Rachel Schones have both earned the distinction of Valedictorian from Newport High School, not Salutatorian.

We apologize for this error and congratulate both students on their outstanding academic achievements.
