Please join me in welcoming Marty Pérez as the new Assistant Principal for Sam Case Elementary. Mr. Pérez brings 10+ years of experience in education to his new position in Lincoln County. Mr. Pérez begins officially at Sam Case on July 1, 2020.
Marty Perez is looking forward to an incredible year as the Vice Principal at Sam Case Elementary School. He looks forward to meeting the wonderful staff, students, and community at Sam Case!
Marty Perez comes to Lincoln County Schools with over 10 years of experience working in education and has been teaching Spanish and Spanish Literature for the past decade throughout Oregon and Anchorage, Alaska. He earned his Master of Education degree from the University of Oregon in 2009 and obtained his Preliminary Administrator License from the University of Portland in 2019. He joined the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) in 2014 and served on the Governor’s Council on Educator Advancement in 2016-2017.
Marty also brings with him his family: his wife, Lauren Perez, and his two beautiful daughters, Marley, and Phoenix Perez. He looks forward to the amenities and lifestyle Newport, Oregon will offer him and his family. He cannot wait to walk the sandy beaches with his family and dog (Mekko), eat delicious seafood, and serve as Sam Case’s Vice Principal. He is grateful for this incredible opportunity and looks forward to working for Lincoln County School District.

Marty Pérez viene a las Escuelas del Condado de Lincoln con más de 10 años de experiencia trabajando en educación y ha enseñado literatura española y español durante la última década en todo Oregón y Anchorage, Alaska. Obtuvo su Maestría en Educación de la Universidad de Oregón en el año 2009 y obtuvo su Licencia de Administrador Preliminar de la Universidad de Portland en el 2019. Se unió a la Comisión de Normas y Prácticas para Maestros (TSPC) en el 2014 y formó parte del Consejo del Gobernador para el Avance de los Educadores de 2016- 2017 Marty también trae consigo a su familia: su esposa, Lauren Pérez, y a sus dos hermosas hijas, Marley y Phoenix Pérez. Espera con interés las comodidades y el estilo de vida que Newport, Oregón, le ofrecerá a él y a su familia. No puede esperar para caminar por las playas de arena con su familia y su perro (Mekko), comer deliciosos mariscos y servir como el subdirector de Sam Case. Está agradecido por esta increíble oportunidad y espera trabajar para el Distrito Escolar del Condado de Lincoln.
