iINVENT Summer Camp in Toledo – August 12-16

The Oregon Coast STEM Hub and OSU Precollege Programs are offering a 5-day iINVENT Summer Camp in Toledo for students who will be entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in Fall 2019. This camp is FREE to students; the cost is covered by the Lemelson Foundation.

The camp will run August 12-16, 2019 at Toledo Jr/Sr High School.

What will students do in the iINVENT Camp?

  • Learn about the invention process
  • Create things worth inventing
  • Work in a community of fellow inventors
  • Collaborate with OSU inventors in design teams
  • Apply Science, Technology, Engineering and Math concepts
  • Develop skills in creativity, problem solving, perseverance, leadership and teamwork

Your student will be able to apply science, technology, engineering, and math concepts while using design thinking. By working in a community of fellow inventors and OSU invention camp mentors, your student will develop skills in creativity, problem solving, perseverance, leadership, and teamwork! By connecting your student to a OSU student mentor, they’ll be able to engage in conversations about higher education and college life at OSU!
