After school programs offer stability and educational success in the lives of students who may need academic support or supervision after school. Besides homework help and tutoring, each day staff encourages innovation and creativity through hands-on activities with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) and related subjects.

2017/18 Program runs from October 3, 2017 - May 31, 2018. Sites locations are: Taft Elementary, Sam Case Elementary, Crestview Heights, Toledo Elementary, and Siletz Valley School.

21st CCLC is inviting community members to share their STEAM related knowledge for either a one-time visit, or a weekly commitment. If you would like to showcase your talents, while encouraging artistic growth in tomorrow's leaders, please call the site coordinator at your chosen location. Other opportunities include helping out with art projects, being a reading buddy, or assisting the site coordinator in daily activities.

With school based after school programs at six locations throughout the county and two community partner sites, most likely there's plenty of opportunity to volunteer within your own neighborhood. Thank you for all you do!
